Prerequisites
- Experience at the level of:
- Agile Fundamentals Training • course 918
- Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO) Certification Training • course 1814
- 2,000 hours of general project experience in the last five years
- 1,500 hours of Agile project experience in the last three years
Coursework
- Overnight reading is required during class.
Exam Information
- To earn this certification, you must take and pass the three-hour PMI-ACP ® exam, comprised of 120 multiple-choice questions (these three hours are factored into the total training time required by PMI)
Continuing Education

- To maintain your PMI-ACP ® , you must earn 30 Professional Development Units (PDUs) in agile topics every three years.
- The PMI-ACP ® exam is currently based on the Sixth Edition of the PMBOK ® Guide and PMI's Agile Practice Guide (2017).
